Hotel ‘I VIVAI’ is located in Bagnolo, a villa and estate district at the foot of the enchanting medieval village of Montemurlo, around 30 kilometres north of Florence. In the 15th century, rich Florentine merchant families such as the Pucci, Baldi, Ridolfi, Gucci and Pazzi built magnificent and imposing villas, nurseries, gardens and refined country estates here.
Hotel I Vivai's restaurant, overlooking the park and the indoor pool, is open daily and offers a lunch menu and an à la carte menu for dinner. The restaurant also has an American bar open until late in the evening for cocktails, aperitifs and tastings. The chef and his brigade offer a menu whose protagonists are raw materials from small local producers, but also great traditional Tuscan and Italian dishes, reinterpreted with care so as not to distort the history and meaning of the dish. The summer pool has been enriched with a garden bar and a new wellness oasis will also be available to guests from the end of 2025. Numerous experiences such as a cooking class, a bike tour in Florence, a guided tour of the many museums or a boat trip on the River Arno can be added on request.
The only golf course in Tuscany signed by Arnold Palmer, the Golf Club Le Pavoniere, is only 12 kilometres away. Two wonderful Tuscan drives of about 45 minutes each will take you to the golf courses L'Ugolino and Poggio dei Medici. A perfect golf holiday if you want to combine your favourite sport with Florentine culture.
