Is Molas Golf Resort is located in the south of Sardinia, near Pula and around 30 kilometres from Cagliari. It is one of the most renowned golf resorts in Italy and Europe. The 27-hole golf course was designed in the 1970s by architects Cotton, Pennink & Partners and opened in 1975. Since its opening, the course has hosted numerous international tournaments, including four Italian Opens and the European Volvo Master.
The golf course stretches over 27 holes with a view of the sea and offers a demanding and varied challenge for both beginners and experienced golfers. The first 18 holes (par 72, total length 6,383 metres) were designed by Cotton, Pennink & Partners, while the 9 holes of the ‘Yellow Course’ (par 36) were designed by Franco Piras, a former national player and partner of Gary Player Design.
The resort has an elegant clubhouse with restaurant, bar and pool as well as a well-equipped pro shop. The Is Molas Golf Academy, run by Dan Williamson, offers both individual and group lessons for all levels of play and uses modern technology such as Dartfish to analyse the swing.
In addition to golf, the resort's surroundings offer numerous opportunities to explore Sardinian culture and nature. Its proximity to Pula makes it possible to visit archaeological sites such as Nora, and its coastline offers some of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
Combining sporting excellence with Sardinian hospitality, Is Molas Golf Resort offers an unforgettable experience for golf enthusiasts and travelers alike.
