Golf Clubs ➜ Tauriana Golf Club Holes 9
The tip of the Italian boot is the setting for this 9-hole course. It is located on the Pietrenere promenade at an altitude of around 100 meters, just a few kilometers from the Viola coast and very close to the Tauriana archaeological park from which it takes its name.
It is a course that brings a lot of variety to the game and ends with a green that stands out against the silhouette of Stromboli, which is always present on the horizon. Fig trees, rowan trees, palm trees and centuries-old olive trees surround this golf course. Hole 9 is a short but capricious par 4 (230 meters) that offers the thrill of the aegle but also the frustration of a “ball in the water”.
The views are breathtaking and a light breeze soothes the summer heat. The clubhouse is housed in an old wine cellar and has retained the charm of the past to welcome players in a warm atmosphere.
