San Donato Golf is located amidst mountains that reach an altitude of about 2000 meters, and offers a beautiful 18-hole course that is quite demanding from a technical point of view. The golf course itself is located at an altitude of about 870 meters above sea level.

The golf course, which was completed and opened for play in March 2005, was designed by Peter McEvoy and Craig Cooke. For the architects it was particularly important to respect the surroundings and nature and to integrate them accordingly.

A special feature is that the mountains serve as a natural backdrop. On this course you can enjoy not only the pleasures of golf, but also the pleasant feeling of walking in the mountains of the Abruzzo Apennines, overlooking the Gran Sasso massif.
