The Monticello Golf Club was founded in 1974 on an area of around 140 hectares and is located shortly after the Swiss border, on the edge of the small town of Cassina Rizzardi (Como).

The golf course is situated in a beautiful park landscape, surrounded by an old stock of trees and partly wide fairways. Various Italia Open tournaments have already taken place on this course and yet both courses are easily playable and enjoyable for the recreational golfer. The two 18-hole courses are perfectly maintained, the sand bunkers were newly constructed in 2021 and two artificial lakes were also created. Both courses are fair to play, some of the greens are very well defended and the very different holes offer great variety. The clubhouse and the terrace offer the best view of the golf course. The food in the clubhouse is also convincing and the friendly staff round off every round of golf at Monticello perfectly.
