Golf Clubs ➜ Golf Club I Lauri Holes 9
The 9-hole amateur Golf Club "I Lauri" is located in the heart of the Val d'Aso, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, amidst hills at an altitude of around 185 meters above sea level.
The I Lauri Golf Club was founded in 2003 as a driving range and opened in 2007 with 9 holes designed by Jeremy Pern. It has developed into a beautiful and well-maintained course.
The golf course of the Golf Club I Lauri is located in a narrow valley crossed by a stream that winds its way through some holes of the course and is one of the main obstacles that the player must be aware of on certain shots.
The difficulty of the course lies less in its length than in the narrow and sometimes sloping fairways, the dense vegetation, which in some cases strongly protects the green, and the presence of the stream, especially at holes 2 and 4.
Playing at I Lauri Golf Club certainly requires precision and concentration to avoid seemingly dormant holes and shots suddenly presenting unpleasant surprises for the score.
Another aspect that the designer Jeremy Pern wanted to emphasize when designing the course are certain views and panoramas such as those from the tee of hole 8, from which you have a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea.
