Golf Clubs ➜ Croara Country Club Holes 18
The course began in 1976 with 9 holes designed by the architect Buratti. It was only later completed by the architect Croze and presents itself in its current form with 18 holes.
The Croara Country Club was the first Italian venue to host the Women's Open in 1987 and is bordered on one side by the Trebbia River and on the other by a huge, centuries-old oak forest that offers panoramic views of rare beauty: Rivalta Castle and the opening to the valley.
The square is located in a hilly area that is favorably influenced by the climate of nearby Liguria. The particular location of the course, which lies between the alluvial deposits of the Trebbia river and the hills of the foothills of the Apennines, gives it the characteristics of a continuous variety of views and playing situations.
The result is 18 very technical holes with moderately narrow fairways along the river, where long shots alternate with particularly delicate shots.
