Construction work on the Alpino golf course began in 1924 and was managed by architect Peter Gannon. The course was opened on July 7, 1925 and the first championships were held in September.

The 9-hole course stretches over a length of 2720 meters. It is nestled in a wonderful landscape close to Lake Maggiore and offers a challenging golf course.

A pleasant restaurant with a wonderful view of the last hole offers its guests excellent local specialties. The restaurant's aim is to make visitors feel as comfortable as at home, while at the same time allowing them to enjoy the sport.
