Located on the island of Elba, Acquabona Golf Club is a very picturesque, hilly course halfway between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro. The scents, the silence, the animals of the natural park, the view of the gulfs and the view of the Elban hinterland provide the setting for an interesting and challenging game.
The course was created in 1971 and is one of the first courses to be built on an Italian island. The architect is Gianni Albertini, then President of the Italian Golf Federation.
The course consists of 9 holes with double tees; it is 5144 meters long and has a par of 68. Among other things, the club offers a driving range with 5 covered and 10 on grass, as well as an 18-hole putting green.
